Default Spring Valley Spectacular

Birdshot presents its 9th event of the Greater Houston Championship Series, Spring Valley Spectacular. What makes Spring Valley Spectacular? Play in the tournament on Saturday, Sept. 6th and find out. There will be input from DG consultants Andi Lehmann and Don Young, also the Montgomery County Chain Gang. I don't know the members of the Montgomery County Chain Gang. There is Matt Stillwagon, Mark (Dutch)Olden?, Matt Stevens? Dixon Jowers? Jim Kelly? Stephen Foss? Rusty Barkley? Seth Johnson? Hopefully the Spring Valley team will step it up as they are losing to the Agnes Moffitt team 119 to 71. The last tournament to count towards the Greater Houston Championship Disc Golf Course is in October and then the North and South teams will play off in Huntsville. Jack Brooks is squashing Quail Valley Links 154 to 58 to lead the South Conference. Check out the details at Birdshot's website www.houstonbirdshot.com or www.titledisc.com

Billy and I will be out at Spring Valley Saturday morning about 9 to evaluate the course and play it of course. We will probably be joined by Andi and Don. Come on out and join us to practice for the upcoming tourney.

Billy and I went out to Spring Valley to evaluate the course for the tourney and could not find one single thing wrong. Kudos to Andi, Don, and the crew at Spring Valley (Owner, maintenance man). DG consultants said that hot dogs and pizza slices would be available for $1. Go ahead and overeat at lunch and see how that 2nd round goes. I did notice something that I can not mention on the message board. We were joined by Matt Stillwagon, Andi, Don, and Stephen Foss for a fun round. Montgomery County Chain Gang will be in force at this tourney. We did see what we thought was a water mocassin.

Just one week away, folks! Please don't wait until the last minute...go ahead & send in those registrations now or sign-up through Titledisc. It may not seem like it today by looking at the numbers that have already pre-registered, but this one could very likely fill. You're all just waiting til the last minute like you usually do...and then it might be too late!
