Disc Golf for Ladies

Hello all ladies,

After talking to a few women who will be in town this weekend, I would like to invite all to play at the spring valley mini this Sunday morning at 9am. We will be playing doubles as usual, so please join us. The mini cost is 10 dollars and 7 of that (I think that is correct) goes to payout for the winning team/teams.
I hope to see some of you ladies out there on Sunday. Bring a friend or two. We welcome exprienced players as well as new comers.

Ummm...well, $5 goes to payout.

$1 - Texas States
$2 - Green fees
$1 - Ace Pot
$1 - Mulligan (will probably go to Sponsorship of the Spring Valley tourney)

Originally, I was going to split the Mulligan fund between HFDS and a course improvement fund for Spring Valley, but after speaking with Andi about it, she said that Mike O'Brien will take care of a few more picnic tables for us, and get us some more benches at no charge so she requested that I use the SV course improvement fund for sponsorship of the Spring Valley tourney comiing up in September instead.

HFDS doesn't need any additional funds at this time so I'll probably kick all of the mulli pool into SV for now and then use the remainder for the rest of the year (until States again) for Texas States.

I sincerely appreciate everyone's contribution to Texas States and I know that the Texas States crew appreciates it tremendously too!

Just a note to any ladies interested in playing flip doubles at the Links course on Sunday at 2:30pm. There will be a few people out at the course to save discs from the water (THANK YOU!!!). If you have floating discs, it would be a good idea to bring them.

I sent Emily an email and told her that she can count me in. I haven't played but 2 or 3 ladies leagues so I'm due to play. Sure am gonna miss Sunday Football though. See ya'll out there!

This is a special invitation for you to join us for the 4th anual Eberly Ranch Open on October 25th. Sure would be nice if a bunch of you guys could show up and make the course a little more beautiful. The entry fee is low and it is a laid back no pressure type of tournament. Just the sort of tournament to get your wet on if you have never played a tournament before. Talk it up amoung yourselves and see it you can get a good group together.
