Chuck has sent in the correct results a while back.

I have also previously ping'ed PDGA with the following message:
Quote:
Results for the Sep 6, 2008 Spring Valley tourney are not correct: http://pdga.com/event?TournID=8200

Those are scores/players from the Aug 9, 2008 Kingwood tournament: http://pdga.com/event?TournID=8193

That'll mess up ratings for some people if it's not fixed prior to 11/25 release.
I'd post their reply but it says:

So to sumarize... PDGA knows about it and it's on them if it isn't fixed in time.

Well even if they WERE sent in it is the ONLY event that doesn't show up on the stats page. I just hope it makes the ratings update so everything is based on "good" results.

And how are the SV scores NOT correct?

As of today the SV scores have been corrected. Previously they were the results from the prior month's Kingwood event. Like I said, if it doesn't make the 11/25 ratings release it's on the PDGA.

We just finally got to upload the scores from the Brooks tournament last week...this has been due to the PDGA website being under reconstruction...not because Birdshot hasn't sent it in. And yes, Chuck made the mistake of sending the Kingwood scores accidentally instead of the Spring Valley scores way back when....fessed up to it on this board way back when...and got it corrected way back when. If anyone's ratings are correct (and I'm talking about worldwide here!) after their website was down (without any warning to TD's I might add) these past few weeks, I'll be really surprised....oh, but I guess if PDGA screws up on that then it'll also be Birdshot's fault (LOL)!

You can always just MAIL the TD report in so the website shouldn't matter. The only thing that would be your fault is not getting them in fast enough. I just dont see how ALL the other events I have played are there but NOT Spring valley and my Ninety freaKen dollars.

Ok its there now but it wasn't yesterday.

Looked at my stats and realized they hadn't been included in the update so yea it was about me. Then again there were another 70 players that may have been upset as well. Also there is a lot of ME because most of thier mistakes have included the Pros in some way and they had to get help to get things moving.

I understand that. If the mistake affects you then you are more vocal. I also have to remember that while what place I finish and my ranking are not really important to me, they probably are very important if you're doing this professionally. I'll give you all that. And as I said earlier, I think you probably have a lot of valid points and good suggestions, but it's all in the delivery.

Yes it is important when it comes down to bonuses from your sponsor, points and money do matter. I wish I could have made my way through college playing disc golf instead of the job I had, but either way it pays the bills and you have to take it seriously. Sometimes too serious Homer.

I've always understood about Matt's sponsorship & how playing in these C-tiers could hurt him....I'm just sorry there aren't any B-tiers being played here & as you've said earlier in these threads, Lou...there's only one course in town open to the public that would even qualify as a championship course & that's Tom Bass. Oak Meadows is great but you have to live there to play there. Unless the city or county steps up at the urging of who knows who & donates or designates a large area of land to lay out a championship course, then who knows if it will ever happen in Houston. Most of the courses here are AM courses at best...and we're just playing these tourneys with what we have.
