Birdshot had a lot of players show up as not current at our January tournament at King Quail. If you sign up right before the tournament, bring your receipt because PDGA does not have time to get you into the system so that you show up as current. If you do not have the receipt with you we will charge you the $10, check on it later, and if you show up as being current the day of the tournament we will refund the $10. I was under the impression that Missouri City bought the golf courses from Quail Valley so I called the tournament "The Watering Holes at Missouri City Links" I am looking to play the Winter Link Series Monday Dec 22nd at anytime that 2 postmen can play with me since I have to be over there anyway to evaluate the course for the tournament.

I'm not seeing a link in this thread for the new site to sign up for this tourney.

Can someone post it?

Thanks,

The sanctioning agreement has been submitted to PDGA...they just don't have it posted yet. Once they do, there should be an icon next to the event on the PDGA tour schedule link on their website. Of course, you can always download a registration form on our website & mail me a check. Chuck hasn't changed the form yet (still has Bass) but he'll do it soon...the only thing different for this one is the Open fees are going up & there will be a mandatory bag-tag fee of $3.00.

My guess is 200+ lost discs!

This is not a beginner friendly course and not one I would play casually because of all the water.

I may go out just to watch all the splashdowns if my girl lets me.

If the Pro fees are going up are you still taking money out based on percentages? If so it would be nice if everyone hads to pay equal fees to you guys instead of the uper divisions paying twice as much.

You never know with this course...I was dreading it at States and it ended up being my best round (only got in the water twice that day!). Then there have been the OTHER times! Hell, I played the Largo with Neal a few weeks ago & threw in six discs...and that was just one round (LOL)!

Patrick and I played the Largo yesterday and it was...(well, not good). We lost 11 discs between the 2 of us after recovering 2. Rain and wind. We did have fun though. Thanks Rob!!!

Yesterday, the wind for the first half of the course was brutal. I sunk five myself. Worst round on the Largo yet for me (79). C.J. on the other hand was trying to lose his driver and it took him 16 holes before he finally did it!
