Cool Re: Course Conditions

If the grass burned, it would grow back nice and green. Is that better?

Oh wait, here it is in sign language.

See, if you would have taken the time to write a complete sentence to begin with, you would have saved time and only posted once. Making sense is so passe these days I suppose.

What is going to be happening with the LINKS baskets for the time being? Are they going to stay in the sleeves at Bass for a while?

The baskets for 2 through 7 on the Powell States course may be the only ones to stay for a little while. I haven't discussed this with the Parks Department yet. The reason I say a little while is along where baskets 5, 6, and 7 are on Powell States there are plans to install a dog park in that area this year. The other baskets will come out on Friday. I have discussed with them leaving some of these in the years past but since most of them are near parking, roads, playgrounds, Pavilion, etc. they did not want anything permanent there.

Thanks Derek for that update. The Parks department is moving a lot of dirt behind the Arts Pavillion on the Wilmont course. They started spreading it last week so there will be some Tee signs/baskets missing from time to time to allow for spreading. They spun this work as something we needed so they produced. Maybe. But maybe they had some left over dirt and needed some place to put it. In either case it is getting done. I did make some "suggestions" on where to put the dirt but I don't know if that is under consideration or not. We will see.

If they put some dirt on 11's fairway that would be good since that area has always been low.
