yes, indeed I am quite savvy on the pdga board myself, just takes an act of a god or something to get them to let a pdga member post. but I would have been banned by now anyway.

The gates are still locked. I have seen a lot of activity behind the fences the past few days. Stacking of broken limbs and trees. I will let you know as soon as I know when the park is open again.

Played Powell on Sunday.....basket 6 is leaning...#10 got bashed & is bent on top.....11, 12 & 14 have debris in the fairways....13 also has debris....I'm sure this is stuff the county will eventually be chopping up & hauling away. I didn't have time to play or even walk the Wilmont, but driving around the perimeter it looks like there will be debris issues there as well...especially back around holes 3, 7 & 8 back in the corner. And, of course, the Wilmont probably hasn't been mowed all summer! We (and hopefully the county) have a lot of work to do for States...if HFDS forms some kind of committee to go ahead & get started on some maintenance out there, the sooner we get started the better.

I was about to ask the course conditions, but that last post answers my question.

So, now that we are moving back into the dark. Might we try to get something going at Bass on the weekends, or just one weekend a month?

Think if we can get some folks out to play.....we might get some work done too. Or atleast get a better feeling for what we have ahead of TSDGC.

Some of us will be at Texas Teams that weekend, so maybe we could do several weekends....like Thanksgiving weekend as we will all have some extra calories to burn.
