Default The Moffitt Show 2009

I was looking at the LSDGA schedule, and noticed that Moffitt Show is listed for Feb 14th. http://www.lsdga.com/sched/index.php

Given the time frame, and how payout is provided by donation..........where do we stand?

What is Larry doing for this? He's listed as contact.

That doesn't sound right. Moffitt Show on the 14th and then the Ice Bowl on the 21st? I bet the Moffitt Show is later in the year.

That is the date that Gary Duke has listed. And if you think about it, March is full and also includes the task of preparing for States.

So, has anyone asked Larry? he's listed as the contact.

I guess I will just keep bumping this until we hear something. Larry, you post about your comando mini, so we know you're out lurking.

Larry is getting that corrected with Gary Duke, so we just need to start getting goodies together for donation/payout in the coming weeks.

March 14th.

FYD, man this tourney was founded by a great person. We can't let the turn out die, as it was quite small last year. What can I do?

Funny you should ask, as I have been brainstorming and strongly considering holding a SN qualifier in conjunction with Moffitt Show.

The F.Y.D. Tie Dye Open, a TSDGC fundraiser where all entries pay $5, $3 to states and $2 for SN points. Trophies would be dyed towels and given at the awards at Brittmore Ice House.

The Ice House will be offering steaks again this year and will be donating some buckets of beer for Moffitt Show CTP's.

This would let those of us wanting to secure points meet that goal, while at the same time adding a bit to the TSDGC purse all while supporting HFDS in our traditional fashion.

Any thoughts are comments?
