Default Kingwood is now open and playable

Kingwood looks great. A lot of work was done on this course and it looks great. I had a great time playing today. Only a few problems to report:

The only problems I saw, were on #5 there was debris on sides of the fairway, and lots of mud, but nothing you cant get around.

The tee markers for #7 and #9 and need to be replaced. Other than that, those are the only problems I have seen.

Also, number 11 has gotten a lot harder, because a small tee is leaning over and blocking the fairway about 80 feet in front of the tee box. You can shoot over the tree, and land in the fairway and still make par on the hole. It make for an interesting hole to play.

I don't know who it was that made the tee signs to replace the bad ones for the tournament, but if you could make a couple for #7 and #9, I can get them in the ground. I would make them myself, but I live in apartment and have no way to make something like that.

Thanks so much to Andi and all who got this course playable again.

I welcome all to come check out the new Kingwood, and come for some tree smacking good times. I shot a 60 out there today, but I am going to try to do better tomorrow.

I also forgot to mention that the spiders are gone for the winter. The spiders will not be back till April or May, so if the spiders keep you away, come now and play in the winter time.

I'm going to go out there one day and play you for some money. We already have a handicap setup since you are playing an even-all course.

Wow that's all I need to do to beat Eric McCabe, just take him out to that course blind.

Hi Midnight Biker,

Do you have Andi Young's email address? If not, email me and I will give it to you. Mine is charleshconaway@yahoo.com. Andi took care of the replaced tee markers for the King me at Kingwood tourney. If money is needed for the tee markers, Birdshot has some available in their maintenance fund. 60 is pretty good. That is probably good enough to beat Scooter on that course. I wouldn't bet money on it though, just a mini marker. Yeah, thats the ticket.

Sorry, I don't play for money, just the love of the game. I love playing.

It is hard to guestimate someone's skill level based n playing that course as the type of gameplan is totally different as you are playing sub 300ft par 3.5s
