The toe got worst when Nicole played in a soccer tournament on Memorial Day weekend. She was in a lot of pain, but her team needed her.

She wanted to play in the Waco disc golf tournament this weekend, so we went to the Southwest Handicap Mini on Tuesday to test out her toe. Unfortunately, her toe hurt too much so she had to play barefoot (the shoe hurt her swollen toe). Therefore we are going to take another week or two off so her toe can finish healing.

Ouch! I'm so sorry to hear about it Rick (and Nicole) but am a bit relieved to hear that it sounds like it's something that will heal completely with time and rehab. Hope she returns soon!

The league results probably get posted about as regularly as they get sent around and I'm guilty about not getting them updated until just before the league. I ALWAYS have them with me at the course though and most of the players check them out when they check-in and pay Ace-Mulli

You've come on really strong in your first outing with us at Jester. Robert and Thomas are both strong players on that course and you're sitting right between them. You've got a shot at a tie with Robert for first place if you take the 30 points this week and Robert gets beat by (or ties) Thomas.

Dennis is giving the white division a good "schooling" and our newest player, Glenn is aceing the Red division.

Yeah, kinda anti-climatic final week knowing that Robert can finish no worse than 1st and I can finish no worse than 2nd. The only way anyone in Gold moves is if they win the week outright and the person they're chasing finishes in, or ties for, last.

I guess I put myself at a decent disadvantage by jumping into the league a week late.

anti climatic is when you play 10 strokes better than the guy who wins league because he showed up when it was flooded shot somewhere in the 80's!!! I will let that go one day? perhaps

Tonight is the final week of regular play in the Jester league. We'll be doing awards and doubles next week with the next edition of Jester league starting 6/24/2010.

Don't forget to check out the latest edition of the HFDS player ratings. There has been some movement lately, and it's looking like I'm going to get bumped up to the Blue division after another ratings cycle.

Hope to see of you folks out there tonight. I'll be getting there around 5:30 and if anyone is planning on being late, please give me a call. Oh yeah - BRING YOUR RAIN GEAR tonight!!!! Forecast is showing 60% chance of precipitation...we ARE gonna get wet tonight!

C U there!

Hmmm...so much for the Weather.Com website forecasts...I see clouds in the sky, but none of them look remotely close to being able to dump rain on us tonight.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the rain clouds stay North of us...looks like the heaviest activity is right around Shawshank right now.

In the morning Weather.com has predicted 50-60% chance of precipitation over Houston at game time for the last three days in a row and so far each evening has been beautifully clear. Hopefully that trend holds up for one more day. :-)

yeah...we got a few sprinkled on Wednesday night but got a pretty good rain on Tuesday night. Glad the forecasts were wrong for us last night!

New 6-week league will be starting up this Thursday 6/24/2010.

I'll be taking sign-ups from about 5:30 until 6:00 pm. At 6:00, we'll start sending out the cards.

Please check the latest edition of the HFDS Player Ratings to ensure that you are playing in the right division - remember too, that you are always welcomed to "play up" a division should you choose to do so.

Hope to see all of you out there on Thursday night.

Larry
