Okay...we've got everything right on the website now & the next official Birdshot Championship Series tournament will be on October 11 at Jack Brooks Park in Hitchcock. We'll be playing two rounds of 21 holes incorporating the five holes that are already in on the new 18. Come out & see what Jake & the gang have been doing down south! Start those preregistrations now...don't wait (like most of you usually do)...this one is likely to fill as well.

This is the way its looking. 1 - 7, walk to 12, play 12, walk east to over bridge, play temp A over pond, walk across street, play B,C,D,E,F (5 on expansion course) walk back across street to hill south of pond, play temp G, walk to 13 and play through to 18. Skip 8,9,10,11. This tournament will not finish early, but should be very interesting indeed

I drove by this morning and the gates were closed. I will check again when I report to work at Hitchcock High or Thursday for league whichever comes first.

Alright gents and dames,
I go to titledisc to sign up for october's tournament, and they have the date up but no ability to sign up. WASSUP?

Titledisc does not have the name of the tournament right either. I submitted the registration for You Don't Know Jack Brooks a week ago. Maybe Josh is slowed down by Ike also. I will give it till next week and then send an email reminder. See if you can get to the registration form on the Birdshot website. You can always download and mail in.

We've been e-mailing Josh about this (among other things!)...as I always say though, save the titledisc fee & mail me a check! It's cheaper & don't have to wait for the money (we're still waiting on about $900 from Spring Valley tournament from titledisc). Maybe in the next few months we can figure out a way to hook up with PayPal ourselves...it's kind've complicated (Chuck's checked into that already actually...that's how we know it's complicated!). Again....go buy a stamp & mail me your registration...it's almost as easy as signing up online (you just have to walk a little farther to find a mailbox!)
