Anyway...the meeting is ALWAYS open to the public and our membership. It starts at 7:00 pm.
It's held at Tia Maria's restaurant on Dacoma at 290.

Good food - good maragitas - good meetings.

Next Tuesday will be the first Tuesday of November - and you all know what that means - HFDS Club Meeting night!

I've heard rumor that there might be a group of former club members trying to gain support for a push to host another Pro Worlds in Houston down at Quail Valley. I think they're planning on making a "pitch" about it.

Good Tex-Mex food reasonably priced. Very tasty margaritas too!

Bump this as a reminder that tonight is the first Tuesday of November and therefore...it's meeting night!

Also keep in mind that this is election time for our club officer positions too. If you are interested in running for one of the elected positions, then please come on out and let us know so we can put together a ballot.

I also encourage everyone to VOTE today at their local polls for our mayor and city council representatives. We've got at least 4 candidates that have responded to our survey that they favor expansion of disc golf in Houston, so please try to vote for these folks and by doing so, cast your vote in favor of disc golf in Houston!

Someone in the know should post what time the monthly meeting starts these days. Apparently over the past few months it's ranged from 6:30, to 7:00, to 7:30....

I would hazard a guess that if folks arrived at 7:00pm then they'd probably have the bases covered.

7:00pm is the "usual" start time of the meeting.

The location is still at Tia Maria's Mexican Restaurant at Dacoma and 290 on the south side.

Just in case anyone was wondering....Tuesday's HFDS meeting was fairly well attended & aside from the obvious Texas States info that was discussed, there will very soon be an election process happening to elect new officers. I'm sure the particulars regarding that will be posted here very soon.
