Week Six and payout tonight! See you guys out there!

Tonight kicks off the final session/season at Miramar for the year. Come out and join us playing the Nasty Nine each Thursday night in Birdshot's league. $20 to enter for 6 weeks, drop your two lowest scores, 100% payout to the top 50%. We've got a great group of folks throwing out there every week and I think I have to move up and donate to advanced this time.

Chris & Melissa are leaving for San Francisco today for a well-deserved delayed honeymoon, but I should be out there in plenty of time from Baytown (I've practiced it a couple times this week!)....

The end is near, boys & girls! Sadly, tonight is the last night of Miramar league for the year......come on out for payday & a final round of the Nasty Nine Times Two! Also...if you're one of the people I've heard from who can let us borrow a basket for Sunday's Day-Of Mini but won't be able to make the mini (Moody's anyone?), please go ahead & bring your basket out to Seabrook tonight...I've got my pick-up & we can go ahead & take them & keep them safe until Sunday....thanks!

Don't forget....we'll be making up last week's league night this Thursday! Man, I was so ready to play last week but the lightning was just too bad for us to continue safely....this week should be good & we can end the year properly!

Most of you probably know this already, but we are not playing league this year...instead we are going to start up the South Side Rotating Mini Series on Thursdays beginning March 22nd! This will be along the same lines as ERic's SW Handicap Minis (except without the handicap!) & the North Side Rotating minis...i.e., we'll be playing a different course every week. Both Miramar & Brooks leagues agreed to combine the ace pots from both leagues for this, so we'll be starting out with a nice big fat juicy ace pot! Let's start this thing at Miramar on the 22nd (the week after States) around 5:00 (it'll still be getting dark at 7:30 when we begin)....we'll be playing Miramar, Taylor Lake Village & both Brooks courses for sure...up in the air about Burke/Crenshaw (dangerous place to play because of all the foot traffic IMO)...we'll decide on that after we begin. Stay tuned for more info & prices as we get closer to daylight savings time!
