We might be bringing umbrellas, but we'll be there Saturday morning at 8:00 to start signing people up. I missed the first mini we had here, so I'm looking forward to this one. Hopefully we'll see a few of you there....and then maybe some of us could go work on boxes at Moffitt for Ice Bowl next weekend. Bring your rakes & other implements of destruction!

Cool! There's about a 60% chance of flying discs in the morning!

Matt, you know they're doing their own fundraising minis at Windwood on Saturday mornings also, right? I think after our mini tomorrow we're going to grab some lunch & head over to Moffitt with some rakes to try to level out the boxes for Ice Bowl next weekend.

there many different threads regarding Windwood, I can read, just want to play a casual round with someone I know. Anxiety disorders suck

When leveling the boxes, please get the fill dirt from somewhere besides right next to or in front of the tee box. This is dangerous and just creates a place for water to pond around the tee box. Not every player uses only the tee box when throwing and need room to approach and follow through without worrying about breaking an ankle.

wOW, I thought that the "extra" engineering that was helping those areas to drain was helpful for most tee boxes.

In fact, you'd have those darn foot faults if you are falling off the front of the box. In fact, since Moffitt is such a pitch and putt, who needs that super, duper dramaticly long run up? What, to throw a putter?

Matt, sure seems like it is always something, isn't it?

In no way am I trying to jack this thread but I just wanted to tell Matt please feel welcome to come to WW if you like. You'd be amongst a very laid back east going group of hacks and hucksters... It's a very informal round of fun. Grassroots effort to raise a liitle dough for concrete... Have fun wherever you play, all DG'ers are brothers and sisters...
