When I was at Seabrook playing last week, someone was asking when Birdshot was going to have another mini out there....well, according to my calendar it will be Saturday June 20th! I also told some of the locals that they too could run their own mini anytime they want...they're not that hard to do! Collect $5 or $10 from eveyone...split up divisions if it's warranted (usually is!) and payout the top half of each division (or %40 or whatever you choose).

The other night we were out there playing and I noticed that there's been some trimming going on. If you know the house that backs up to #2 with the sign warning disc golfers not to enter the yard, well all the trees and shrubs that stood between the course and their back fence have been removed.

I can't be sure, but I suspect the house has new owners. It looked empty through the windows from the trail. If there are new owners I hope they are more receptive to errant disc retrieval.

The previous owners were always actually very nice to us disc golfers....they just didnt want you to walk into the backyard unannounced. Very often they were in the backyard & would hand them right over if they saw them come in...but you could always walk around the corner & knock on the front door (if they were home) and they would always be very nice & get the discs for us. With all the trimming, I'm sure there will be a few more going in there now!

Today the fence was in better shape and the sign was gone.
