this course has lots of potential if the additional land in the back is taken into consideration with a redesign and lengthing the overall course.

Expansion of this course has the same challenge as Terramont. Property is available but it is in a floodway and is not owned by the Woodlands. But with the right coordination efforts it could be done.

thats true. But ive noticed the past few years, that land stays pretty dry now back there, and theres tons of it. seems worth looking into. i have talked to them before about baskets, maybe i will call and see if anyone will listen regarding course expansion.

With nine longer, more playoff style holes that would be a phenominal championship course. It has potential. There are a couple of throw away holes, but they become birdie or die holes, but they only balance out the mando down 17 that most ams are going to have a hard 4. Ditto on the comments about the long tees. They are subtle angle differences at best on a couple of holes. Even stretching about another 10 to 20 feet back could add some challenge differences.
