In honor of Cinco de Mayo, hole #5 will be the CTP this week.

Entry fee $7; includes $1 Ace Pot, $1 to TX States fund, and $5 goes back to payout. Payout will be top 45% of finishers.

The traveling ace pot payout is currently $231 and pays out 80% if hit ($185). This Mini is a fund raiser for next year's Texas States so please come out, play some disc golf, have some fun, and show your support.

For the SW Handicap Mini realistic handicaps are based on your PDGA rating and your recent performance on SW courses with specific emphasis on the course being played that week. Also, several other effects are factored into the handicap such as the level of course difficulty.

Assume the example Ace Pot is $100 total. That includes previous events' pay-in and the current event's pay-in. It will pay-out 80% ($80) if it's hit in the current event. If multiple players hit an Ace in current event they would evenly split the 80% ($80). 20% ($20) of the current event's total Ace Pot rolls over to the next event so that there's still something seeding the Pot for future events.

Further clarification: an "Ace" means carding a '1' for a hole. I.e. the first throw from the teebox that lands in the correct basket for that hole.

Second throws from the teebox for OB re-tee, missed mulligan re-tee, unplayable lie/optional rethrow re-tees, etc. do not count as "Aces" even if they land in the basket.

A disc legally "wedged" in the basket per PDGA rules that is declared at rest by the card counts as an "Ace" even if it were to fall out of the tray after being declared at rest.

Steve threw a solid round this week to take the win.

CTP winner was Matt Petre. We played CTP on basket #1 which is in the rotation three times in the Handicap layout and Matt's first throw held up the whole night.
