Yikes!!!
$57 for a 1-day, 2-round C-tier??? Seems a little steep unless that is including all amenities... Does it include food too? |

Yup! Breakfast and lunch!! That also includes a $5 greens fee that we don't usually have....yes, it's a little steep but there's no place to eat for miles around & Steve & his parents do a pretty bang up job on the food. I know a couple of people that are coming just to eat those wonderful biscuits & gravy for breakfast!!! Not to mention the fact that they love to play this course. Personally, for me, it's a little more than I usually want to spend....but I pony it up once a year since it IS the Birdshot Finale. I guess you could say I am expected to be there!

Cool. Thanks for the info Billy.
It seems a little bit more reasonable if it includes food and green fees, but it's around the same price as the SVSV which was a B-tier with a bit more golf at 2 rounds of 21 holes. But thanks again for the info Billy...I'd support your vote to run these C-tiers at lower cost entry fees...$57 is too much. How much of the $57 is going into payout? Is it around $40 then? |

Wow! I had so much fun last year, I want to play again. Trying to get Richard to come with me again.

I sure wish I was in the position to shell out that cash. Can't wait to look back at myself and wonder how I survived on so little cash.

It's our normal fees plus the $5 greens fee plus the $10 food fee...and that's breakfast AND lunch, Matchu. Last year the food fee was only $5 and apparently they took a little bath on that one so Steve upped the fee another $5 this year. Yes, it's a little steep....no, not everybody can afford to go. Yes, I wish it was cheaper too...although if I was going on a road trip to play I would probably end up eating breakfast & lunch on the road or whatever & would probably spend close to that. True, if it was not mandatory you could bring a sandwich...I didn't vote on the mandatory thing (in fact, I thought some of the same thoughts you guys are thinking!)....but it is what it is. Since we chose to do the finale up there again this year (because so many people loved it there last year), then ShawShank has us by the Short Hairs!
That being said (again!), I can guarantee you the food will be good...and there will be plenty of sodas & water for everyone too! If some of you can't afford it, I understand & I'm sorry...but it WILL be a fun time if you can make it.

That's great that they took a bath, but do we have to pay for the water and bubbles AND A RUBBER DUCKY?!

The mandatory fee for lunch is just wrong, $10.00, come on, what if we have a few vegetarian folks there? I don't eat beef stew but won't be there anyway. Hey the Dufrane's are all about money anyway, just ask them. They will make a really nice profit and could care less about anything else. Have fun and support the Dufrane clan. They are not as they seem. If you ever really get to know them, you will understand.
