Yes I find it aggravating too to find cigarette butts throughout the course grounds.

heres the deal on smoking and its just mine. knock the cherry off your butt and carry it out. people that just jump and say no smoking really piss me off. most of the time i find that to be a former holyer then thou former smoker that usually smokes when drinking anyway. bla bla bla. butts piss me off too and a clear sign at the beginning explaining the rules of the course would do wonders. pictures really help from my experience too.

I've said this before on other posts but I'll say it again....I am a smoker but never will you find my butt(s) anywhere on any course (unless one accidentally fell out of my bag!). I don't throw them out the car window either....it's called littering & it might be smaller than a bag of trash but it's trash nonetheless! Flicking it on the ground is just lazy....snuff it & put it in one of those many pockets on your bag....or carry an empty soda can to put it in...something!!! And as dry as it's been, throwing it on the ground could start a fire...whadda ya wanna do, burn down the course?!!! Use a little bit of common sense, man....DUH!

I don't know the cherry you speak of, but I don't drop trash (cigarette butts included) and pack out whatever I see.

one day I am going to get out of my car and hand back the trash or cigarette I see someone throw out, or gather a bag of trash and dump it in there yard.

I may print a few of these and have them in my console right next to a pen. Normally used for inspirational thoughts and ideas I have while driving. Heck I might keep one in my golf bag as well!

I was out there today and was shocked to see the number of beer cans in the trash can at hole #12. We could loose this course if that keeps up.
