Everyone this is what the Donation box is about. There is no budgeted money to pay for course upkeep. You guys know how fast a course can be overgrown in the spring and summer, It requires alot of mowing (gas money) and when a belt breaks on the mower, it needs replaced as well. Lets show the church how much we appreciate this course and drop a buck in the box for every round you play. We need to be self sufficient and not a burden on the church.

Thank you for showing your appreciation this way...

SAW money going in that box yesterday!

Happy to say that there is now a sign by the donation box on hole #2. For those that are wondering...YES the box will be emptied daily and it is SUPER secure in the ground. MULTIPLE bags of concrete and multiple pieces of 1/2" rebar have been driven into the ground through the wet concrete as well. Any and all support you can give would be amazing!
Peace

It's now posted on the T-box of 8... Not sure if it's posted on any other hole..

Looking forward to building a nice bulletin board.... I think at hole 2's Tbox would be a great place or it. Out of general sight, but very visible for players. Also it would gather everything up nicely in one spot... maybe a nice bench here also would encourage taking a moment and reading it

There are three "This campus is Alcohol Free" on the course. Two from the parking lot walking towards tee box 1 and the sign on tee box 8 as Scott mentioned.

Duffy - for now we just need to put another 4x4 in the ground at hole 1. We still have plans to put in professionally made tee signs with a graphical depiction of the hole, sponsorship info, and a scripture vs. If you wanted to make a replacement tee sign for the one that was taken out by a car crashing off spring cypress that would be great!

Scott - This summer we are gonna get some cool stuff done on the course including a bulletin board. Get ready!

What's going on with the Sat. morning mini. Only two of us showed up ( me and Clint H ). The only way a mini like this will prosper and grow is if people can count on it every Sat without fail. We had a fun round anyway. There were several cards of other people out playing including a card with a man herding a group of what appeared to be several 8 - 10 year olds.

I posted awhile back that I couldn't run the sat morning minus for a few months, my two little ones are on swim team right now which means daily practices in the afternoons and Saturday morning swim meets until mid June. I'm pretty much regulated to Friday night games for awhile.

Mr Ed if you'd like to run the Saturday morning mini, get with Doug I'm sure it would be fine. If you could raise a little money for course mowing (gas money) that would be great. You guys could even drop the donation in the new donation box at 2's tbox.
