Mini Medal Birdshot Mini/Nasty Nine V/June 18, 2011

Father's Day is coming up once again & for the past three years that's also meant The Nasty Nine Mini at Miramar on the Saturday before! This is actually the fifth mini we've run there but it will be the third one in a row on Father's Day Weekend! If you need more details, check out the info at www.houstonbirdshot.com ... we usually have a big crowd for this one, so get there early!

The Seabrook Parks folks have given us permission to add four extra baskets to the Miramar course for this mini. We've mapped out four nice locations in the big field across the street adding two long open holes and two shorter, tree lined holes.

So... instead of "Nasty Nine V" it'll be "Nasty Thirteen I"...?

Don't forget to make plans for the mini in Seabrook this Saturday...this has traditionally been one of our biggest minis as far as numbers go, so come early! We did get permission to add four extra holes across the street, so that will help to create some more spots (potentially 65 of them!). After lunch I'm sure a few of us will head over to Taylor Lake Village, so if a lot of you haven't been there yet then here's your oppurtunity...hope to see you there!

After mini lunch at Boondoggles on NASA 1; the best pizza in Clear Lake and Boondoggles is a supporter of disc golf in the area!

i considered not playin' a dynamic disc event just to play this mini, for those who dont know ...this mini is worth the drive from wherever you are.

Griff, I wouldn't blame you or anyone for playing Cedar Hills in Dallas this weekend...I know some people going too! However...if you're not going up north on I-45 then please come on down south on I-45...or 225...or however the hell you get there....just be there! If you haven't played out here since last year, the course got a little bit easier...but it can still be nasty with the alts that we've incorporated for league (and this mini!).

Bumping this up to remind you all to come on down to Seabrook tomorrow morning for The Nasty Nine V (Super Deluxe Edition)! Once again, we got permission from the parks department to add four more holes across the street between the skatepark & the library...plus we've got alts to play on the regular course and, according to Mr. MacGregor, it looks like we might be playing 22 or maybe even 24 holes! That will all be explained in the morning...but I do know that this allows us more room to have more players, so come on down & join us for some hot & nasty holes! Lunch after at Boondoggles for those who wish to join us & the over to TLV for some casual play!
