It's the three sets of tees causing the ratings to all be skewed

Int, mixed and masters all played whites. Adv played blue and rec played reds.

Every round same tees? No mixing it up.

yeah we were bummed we didn't get to play the whites (Rec)
but those round ratings look great to me

Heck man I might have to put the chainsaw down and play in more BS tourney's this year and see if I can get out of the novice division rating...you know....for the feel good about my game factor

Last year Rec & Mixed played Red tees every round. But at least the other divisions played some different tees.

That's too bad. That was one of the suggestions I made after last year's event: to mix up the tees. At least on the Best Shot round let the divisions "play up" to the harder tee pads.

Dang! That's right! I assumed the same tees were being used for everyone even though they did have different courses! The reality is that the divisions played from different tees each round too! I've got a whole lot more work to do to get the course configurations set correctly.

I hope to get a chance to play with it all tonight and see.

I agree about mixing it up a little bit more with regard to assigned tees. I recall one year when the Mixed teams had to play from the Blue tees and that caused them to play a LOT longer round than the advanced teams playing from the Blues. It doesn't make much sense to have Rec/Int players playing from the Blue tees, but tossing the White tees at them for Best Disc (first) round seems like a good way to handle it.

Thanks for the feedback regarding those pseudo-ratings...I don't have the patience to want to figure out whose rating was the highest of a team, but I can fool around with the correct configurations and see if that gets it a little closer. I'm using par 57 for all courses that play #10.

If the White tees are truly white/INT level tees then it you should be able to put MA2/INT players on Blue tees for Best Shot rounds.

Round ratings don't count toward your PDGA rating in doubles.
