well after marking the pond out and drainage ditches we saw Dixon playing 16 and called him over for a conference (consulted the pro)... He made the suggestion after looking at the layout that we may want to actually shorten 17 a touch, bringing the pond completely into play (forcing the int/adv player to go for it and the Rec player to lay-up short) and we can always set up an alternate T way back another 100 feet from it's current location to force a lay up/ placement shot in front of the pond (right around the 3 big pines) for everyone, pretty much gauranteeing no birdies on that hole. Placing your drive in the right spot just to have a chance at par, with bogey being the consequence for a mis-placed first drive.

Very good input - everything in your head says "make it longer...not shorter" but in this case a touch shorter might be way harder...

Hey I just wanted to take a minute and update our T-Box sponsorships, we have had a few more come in and we are running out of sponsorship opprotunities. So just in case the pros are waiting till the last minute to sign up....(just kidding)

Holes numbers and who sponsored the T-box:
#1. Reserved for Pastor Kevin Rudolph and Windwood Church
#2. David and Steve Miller
#3. Stimpy Moore
#4. Mr. Fred Needham (he aced it and immediately wrote a check....awesome)
#5. Chad Tedesko
#6. Doug Rogers
#7. Scott Hawkins
#8. HFDS
#9. Eric (EyeDG)
#10. Jack Camp
#11. open
#12. open
#13. open
#14. open
#15. Associate Pastor Pat Ryan
#16. open
#17. Catapiller
#18. Disc Golf Consultants???

If you see your name and want a different open box...let me know asap

That will leave only 5 boxes left for sponsorship...unless we get 3 more holes approved..... Remember 250.00 gets your name, club, or business on the T-sign f...o...r...e...v....e...r

lets make sure we place the next two trash cans in a place that can be reached by truck. Otherwise, I have to drag that trash out by hand and that is no fun with stinky stale beer dripping out of the bags. :-)
