Bart is leading his pool but by looking at the ratings he was 7-10 strokes back of 1st........he only had one round vs the other pool's 2 rounds.

Anyway I know the old man will make us proud.

I just want to say to everybody how much I enjoyed this years Worlds. I was there to caddy for Conall, but the week was more about all of us being there for each other. When C lost his lead Thursday afternoon, Jim, Griff, McCoin, Chase, were all ther to pick him up. We all rooted for each other, and picked each other up.
I can't wait for Rochester next year! Not just for the tournament, but for the chance for all of us to pull together and play not just for outlrselves, but for OUR DG community!
See you guys on the course next weekend. Time to put away my caddy gear and pick up my plastic again!

Wow...what a trip! Waking up every day to go play our favorite game....meeting like minded individuals from all over the country (and the world!)....playing finesse courses that are for the most part lacking here in the Houston area (Spring Valley & Jack Brooks excluded)....what a week! It went by too quickly & I'm not even that sore! Thanks to Cathy for letting me go and I hope to do it again...if not next year, then maybe after that.

I shot above my rating on three courses....especially at Alum Creek, which was supposed to be one of the hardest courses (we never played Delaware). For some reason I was finding my lines through almost all of the woods holes....I picked up most of the strokes that round out on the longer open holes (got into OB trouble on a couple of those). Hopefully this will bring my rating up a bit here in a couple of months.

Alum was my best round for sure. It reminded me a lot of the lines in Houston and the distances were very manageable. My original round rating there was 988... but I'm sure that is subject to change

My list of hardest to easiest Worlds config courses ("difficulty" based on trying to shoot 54 or better).

1. Gordon Holton Memorial DGC (Delaware)
2. The Player's DGC @ Alum Creek SP
3. Sawyer Ludwig DGC (Marion)
4. Upper Sandusky Reservoir DGC
5. Hedges Boyer Park DGC (Tiffin)

I could be convinced to flip-flip #2/#3; it's close.

Didn't play Aumiller Park DGC (Bucyrus).

I think Sawyer was harder than Alum because it had less birdie opportunities (unless you throw 450+). Bucyrus and Tiffin were both birdiefests
