Default Saturday work days

This is an open invitation to all local players.

I spend my Saturday mornings (from Sunrise until I wear out) out at this course doing what I can with the manpower available to finish this course.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, especially at sunrise and I'd like to openly invite any board readers and local players who also enjoy the escape....the work out.....and the feeling of accomplishment, to come out and be a part of taking a disc golf course from the "ruffed in" stage.. to a course, that when completed with a few redesigns and manicuring will be regarded as one of the best in town.

It has the potential, be a part of bringing it out.

Thank you to those who keep coming and thank you to those who read this and want to grab your work gloves and jump in..

We usually finish working by noon and start playing....Hope to see you on a Saturday morning..

There's plenty of branches, but I would say bring bug spray too.

Hard to say. The last couple of times I've played it's been in the afternoon so they have been worse. The rain on Sunday won't help.

They were pretty much scarce these past couple of days....prolly in hibernation. They'll be warm and hungry by the weekend.

Not at Winwood. They are still horrible. I hope some winter weather gives us some reprieve for at least a month or two.

I was out there today and they were out in force. With my OFF personal fan and the spray, they pretty much left me alone, but a few got through my defences.

I've been cutting clearing and cleaning the course for the new layout all week. Tomorrow morning I will attempt to cut in the last hole. There's allot of real work to do but if a few will showup to help we might could dig up about 3 baskets and replant them in their new locations. If anyone is free at all your help would be greatly appreciated. Big thanks to "Chadman" new to the board for stepping up today to work. Thanks Chad..

If anyone comes out to play at least help us on 13 by dragging a few limbs off the fairway as you play through, it would help tremedously thanks

WORK DAY Dec 5th. We need any and all help for the final work day before the dedication. We are gonna start at Sun-up. We are gonna move three baskets, paint tee signs, clean up a couple fairways and more. There will be plenty to do, so come one come all. Bring Gloves!

Let us know if you can make it.
