I've found on "good" plastic finger nail polish remover works well... you should have some in your purse.. but that only works on returnable discs, not sure about unretunrable ones...

You can always just scratch it out...but that's ugly!

Acetone works pretty well at removing ink, stamps, and anything else on the disc. That's what we use to clean up the disc before dying it. About 50 seconds into this video gives a good demonstration of it's effectiveness.

Nice.
Ya, that's it - just erase the name on it - that'll make it yours. ![]() ![]() Why not just steal some new discs from the store? |

frisbeedude: he said they are unreturnable as marked. i assume they don't have a phone # or other identifying mark (i.e. pdga #) other than a name or initials which make it difficult if not impossible to track down the owner.

Perhaps I was a bit hasty but c'mon now - "how to erase someones mark on a disc" discussion thread, weather or not the person that lost the disc is unavailable or not, just doesn't seem right.
Why not just leave the previous owners name on it [That way when you throw it back in and it's found later it might just make it back to the original owner] I for one love to get back long lost plastic. I'd say I've received one back for every ten found & returned. |
