Disc Golfer Extraordinaire/Comedian

Okay so maybe extraordinaire was a bit optimistic but I haven't played for a while and for all you know I could have spent the past few months in the mountains with a group of disc golf monks learning the spiritual side of the game and becoming one with my disc. Well, it could happen.

I wanted to send out an invite for May 30th, that's the Sunday of the long holiday weekend coming up. I will be performing at the Laff Spot on 249 and Louetta in the Houston's Funniest Person competition. I performed in the first round thinking that would be it but surprisingly I was selected to advance into the next round. All of these comedians perform regularly at open mic nights or at comedy shows. They're looking for that one big break to springboard their career. I, on the other hand, get a wild hair up my butt about once every 10 years, jot down some notes, and get up on stage and make a fool out of myself. Who would have thought that's what they were looking for.

So mark your calender, I could use the support. May 30th, show starts at 6:00PM, and you can find directions and specifics about the club at www.laffspot.com. There's a professional comedian that comes on at 8:00 and for your $5 entry to the competition, you can stick around and watch a real comedian.
