All the long boxes, when they are done, will likely be a mix of a couple 12ft and the rest 14ft or 16ft (lake lewisville's are 16) depending on the distance.

The transition from ground to concrete on most of the boxes is really smooth though in case anyone needs a 20ft run-up on those lengthy sub-250ft holes...lol
those are the holes I use a boss on lol! Been putting with a destroyer inside 30 feet and i am money.

hole 11, the only hole from the short tee's over 400, has a 16 foot box.

Golden Triangle Disc Golf Club is really going all out for Klein Park. It is a beautiful park with a well designed course and deserves the attention. Can't wait to play it Saturday.

The course is bone dry right now. Unless we get more rain between now and then, the only water will be in the drainage ditch.

I've only noticed the skeets out there getting close to dark.

Not sure on the hooters lunch yet, should find out hopefully today or tomorrow. We're gonna buy enough food for 25, then they are supposed to throw in more free food. So at least the first 25 to sign up for food will get to eat, but I'm thinking they're gonna throw in enough extra food to feed like 50. So we wanna wait and see how much food total before we attach a price per person and how many can buy. We're supposed to have 2 hooters girls bringing and serving lunch.

We have 2 water jugs, but I dont think we can have too many water jugs this weekend.

We're almost there, cant wait.

Only 25 pre-registered as of this morning....I expect to get some more tonight at Brooks league. If you're signing up online through the Birdshot website, remember that it will close at 6PM tomorrow (Friday)! If it's anything like Port Arthur a few months ago, there will be a lot of walk-ups...that's cool with us...extra filthy lucre, don't you know!

We'll bring two more coolers....and for those of you who don't get in on the Hooters, there are a few eating places fairly close to the park! I can't wait either...and it's good to hear that the mosquitoes aren't swarming!
