Hey guys,
I am from Rocky Mount, NC and I am coming to Houston for the week to see some family. I know when we are down there we are going to be playing quite a bit of disc golf. Or at least I am. Do you guys have any tips on where I need to play or info. During the 16-23rd, are there any weekly doubles, singles or any type of tournament going on? Any info would help. TY Oh yeah, I was not sure where to post this thread, this section looked like it will be fine for the time being. |

Oak Meadows is playable, or do you mean not respecting the rules that say no trespassing?

yeah for someone coming in from out of town they need an accurate heads up on what to wxpect at Oak Meadows.. It's private with security monitoring the course. Monitored more heavily on weekends obviously, but you still run the risk of driving all the way out there on a weekday (if your going to disrespect the private course rule) and being met by security and turned away, asked to leave or whatever else they wish to do with you, within the rights of the tresspassing laws...IMO there are now other options on the northside that make this course not worth the risk anymore....just my .02
I use to sneak out there occasionally, but never felt at ease the whole time I was there.... |

Teejay, if you wanted to play Oak Meadow, legally, there is a good chance that I can play on Mon, Tue, or Wed afternoon. As a resident of the neighborhood the park is in, I can bring guests. Unfortuneately I am busy that weekend and can't make it Saturday or Sunday.
If any other HFDS members wanted to join then they are more than welcome. Just send me a PM. |
