This may be better posted in the PDGA forums, but I figured someone here will probably be able to help. My rating dropped 2 points. No biggy except I havent shot under my rating since february. One of my most recent rounds was just under my rating, but they havent used my most recent tournament yet. As a matter of fact since the last undate theyve used two rounds from the bluebonnet fandango, which both of my rounds were rated higher than my rating? Can any one help me to understand this. Like I said its not a big deal but just seems like bad math?

did you have any rounds rated that are over two years older then your last event played? if so then they may have dropped off and might have been slightly better rounds for you causing you to drop. Or if you have enough rounds calculated (20+ i think) then anything over a year older then your most recent would drop off.
If not that then they may have had to tweek a tourney or tournies that you or others have played which altered yours or their rating which could change yours slightly.( hope that made sense..lol) |

like fuzzy said, you must have dropped old rounds that were above your rating

This does appear odd.
You've got your entire PDGA tournament history going into your current rating, i.e. no old rounds dropped. They dropped one "too low" round, but that was also dropped for the last ratings cycle too so that's not it. Sometimes ratings will be adjusted or corrected later. I know this was the case with the Cool Cool Water at Quail Valley Links tourney. The initial official ratings for that were very wrong. But I was pretty sure they had those all corrected for the last ratings update. Maybe one of the other past events you played was corrected in this update? You might want to drop a line to Chuck K. in this thread: http://www.pdga.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=22471 |

I am sure that is what it is.
If they didnt correct an event you played in, they also could have corrected an event that several others had played in before, which adjusted their rating and in turn adjusted the ratings for any event you played in with them. I would think the latter would take atleast a few propagators in order to make a real difference though. |

Anybody know why the Pecan Park Open in Nacogdoches from April 24-25 hasn't factored in to current ratings yet?

I don't know but I wish they had been entered! Schule School also didn't make it which kinda bummed me since I had a high ratings avg for those two events. I was lucky to go up a point with only 5 rounds including a 965 that wasn't dropped. |
