How 'bout not on Tuesday? I'd like to attend but I'm not available on Tuesday nights.

I think that the final vote for moving the meeting night was deferred until this next meeting where a vote will be taken. I requested that Richard postpone voting on moving the meeting night to accommodate Dave Nesbitt until a couple of the key club officers could be present to give them an opportunity to be heard on the subject: (namely Stimpy and either Conrad or Ed was absent last month...)

I think that the subject will be brought up for a vote at the next club meeting. I believe that it was suggested that it be moved to the second Tuesday of the month before the vote was tabled.

So I'm assuming that we'll still be meeting at Jax on Tuesday the 4th.

Yes, in addition, the vote on moving the meeting had a procedural/safeguard hitch related to polling of membership. January's meeting will be at Jax on Tuesday Jan. 4th.

As discussed at last month's meeting, we talked about moving it to the second Tuesday of each month due to Dave's commitment to the PDGA before tabling the final vote until the next meeting. Understandable. But please consider keeping it on the same night of the week (Tuesday) but just pushing it back one week to the second Tuesday. Once daylight savings time resumes and leagues begin, the meeting night will interfere with the currently scheduled and long running HFDS event nights. I realize there are other events that take place on Tuesdays (namely in years past, our SV mini and ERic's Southwest Handicap Mini Series), but it is already an established 'night of the week' most club meeting attendees are accustomed to maintaining. With all of the work that lies ahead early this year it might be prudent to make the change minimal.

I think Tuesdays are good, but one thing I would suggest is starting the meeting earlier. The meetings are typically going over 2 hours and if this continues I think a start time of 6pm would be better. We seem to always run out of time and obviously there are so many things to discuss we need to begin earlier.

I would like to raise a vote to change the meeting start time to 6pm instead of 7.
