I just got the discs in today. Most of the discs are between 160-166. The next largest range is 167-169. There are very few 170+. Choice of discs will be first come first serve.

There is still one remaining spot available.

For those interested in getting there early to pick a particular disc and get in some warm up throws, I plan on getting there by 9:00am.

FYI....the discs are not exact weights. They are classed by RANGE, as noted above.

Registration Update:

Thank you to all who pre-registered to this event. At this time, we have filled all 52 spots (players packages).

If you have not signed up and want to play tomorrow there are a few of options:

1) Show up and hope that someone who has registered but not prepaid does not show up.

2) Borrow a friends 2nd ace race disc to compete. If you pay a $5 fee, you would be eligible to compete for the Grand Prize.

3) Bring your own mid-range to play. You will not be eligible to win the grand prize if you use a non-ace race disc.

I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Joe, glad you could make it. I enjoyed the casual round with you, Bill and Mr. Ed. Hope to see you next year.

I wanted to thank everyone who made it out to the Ace Race this weekend. Jason Rennie took the grand prize (8 Discraft discs and a Discraft bag) with 1 Ace and 4 metals. There were quite a few Aces and metals and Jason took the lead with an Ace on his last hole.

Personally, I liked the disc and will keep it in the bag as a meathook mid-range and a forehand mid-range. Would like to hear what everyone else thought about it.

If you have any ideas or suggestions about next years Ace Race, please feel free to send me a PM.

Regards,
Ramsey

Thumbs up Re: Discraft Ace Race at Oak Meadow Park - Oct 2, 2010

I lined it up with a Roc; very similar mold between the 2. Found a spot on my cart as well!
