2012 Sunday afternoon mini.

Northsides regular Sunday afternoon mini will be starting it's 2012 season on January 1st.
For the winter months we will be starting at 2:30pm instead of 3:00.
We will be adding a new format to include a doubles match at least once a month but not sure which weekend just yet.
Also, instead of 100% payout, we will be participating in the Ice Bowl fund raising for 2013 by holding back a dollar.

Entry fees are still:
Int-Open - $10
JRS-REC - $5
Entry fee includes one mulligan for the 18.
Ace pot is optional at $2.
Free bottled water provided.

Current ace pot stands at $293.

We have been working on some extra holes so we may throw them in the mix at least once a month as well to spice things up a bit.

Bryan wanted me to post a reminder that this Sunday's mini will be a doubles format. Pros bring your bros and Ams random draw. 2:30 start time.

Just a FYI Main Ace Pot is at $349. We didn't hit it just for all you Texans fans. You should have been playing with us anyway. We begin at 2:30.

If you want to get in on some feedback for pin placement as well as compete for some free prizes on the next three permanent holes at NCC. Come at 2pm or stick around after the round. DGA sent me some shirts and discs to give away. Plus we may have some additional cash/ prizes added.

My thoughts are that over the next 3 weeks we log scores to see who can put the lowest score together for the 3 holes in one "round." If you are here for all 3 weeks you could have up to 6 chances. One of the holes is sitting at 189 ft through some tight woods on a slight hyzer.

Jerry threw a perfect "Champion Boss" shot on hole 5 from the longs. Pure high & flat flight that faded as it slowed down directly into the sweet spot of the chains. Slam!
(this shortly after I declined from any "split"... I promised the wife the $$ for vacation car rental fees. D'oh!)

I am going to have Sunday afternoon commitments for a while and Bryan has told me he has too much going on so we are going to postpone the mini for a while.

MXXDG and Gorilla DG series is going to be bringing back the North Side Christian Church Sunday 3:00 Afternoon Mini!
STARTING THIS SUNDAY 03/25/2012 @ 3:00 pm
• This Sunday mini will be the first chance to play the NEW tournament holes!
• 5 weeks before Gorilla DG series comes to NSCC, this mini will provide an opportunity for players of all skill levels to give feedback on the new course design.
• This Sunday, the course will have the new holes that surround the main church plus the WATER FOUNTAIN hole! The following 4 Sundays will introduce the other 7 NEW tournament holes.
• For the South Side people looking for a full day of DG, will be able to get a morning round at Spring Valley and then have a little rest/lunch for the 3:00 afternoon round at NSCC!
