Hey everyone. We are going to have the Windwood Mini on Sat. We would like to ask EACH player to make a $5 donation that will be given to HFDS as part of their donation to the Houston Food Bank. If you donate $5 you will be entered into a drawing for a nice Walmart Gift Card.

We do value the importance of the ICE BOWL and encourage people to support that event. We also know that a nice amount of the players that attend the Windwood Mini are not involved in HFDS events and/or have expressed that they would not play the Ice Bowl even if the Windwood Mini is canceled.

We know that the Houston disc golf community has a long history of being charitable and we believe that this weekend will be another fine example of that charitable spirit.

That's awesome Doug! I'm sure the Houston Food Bank will appreciate it. If I did'nt have to get my Ice Bowl "stuff" I'd join ya'll at Windwood.

I like the idea of donating for the Ice Bowl fund-raising effort towards the food bank. Nice to help a bit w/o drawing players away from the IB event.

Small showing today but it was COLD!! Raised $40 for the Ice Bowl, Scott Hawkins won the walmart gift card, bag tags were exchanged, and fun was had by all!

Thanks for doing this Doug. We're making big plans for next year. Even though it was a little crowded at Moffitt it really wasn't too bad. The weather sure was nice. If it would have been freezing, even waiting a couple of minutes would have been miserable.

Told you I was feeling lucky

Man I was one 12 ft putt away from having the #8 WW bag tag.. Missed it and left with #40... so not feeling entirely lucky.. It was fun, we need to get that midweek rotating mini planned out soon. March will be here before you know it... ERicJ you guys ready for dinner?
