I was reviewing this thread, and I would like to get some clarification on one thing I saw discussed but not solved yet. According to the Birdshot website and the initial advertisment of this event, we are playing "WORST shot". However, I also noticed that "TOUGH shot" was requested in lieu of WORST shot, and that this request was being considered. Has there been a decision on this?
With a 7 year old as a partner, the difference for me between the two is "OKAY" vs. "OH CRAP!"

Ooooh, good question, Matt! The "persons in charge" are back in town now & will hopefully address this one ASAP...I personally don't know whether the condsideration has been considered yet! It won't matter either way to me since I'll be running on empty anyway....but I can see why it matters to you! Hard to tell what my game will be like considering I will have been up all night...either I'll play brilliantly or it will be a total disaster! Looking forward to seeing you & C though.....

Having played lots of doubles, I don't see the difference. The other team should be selecting the shot that is the hardest, difficult not just who's farther away. Always give them the sh*t shot no matter when it lies.

Eric can give the long answer but in tough shot as soon as someone holes out the hole is completed in worst both have to make the putt and a lot of layups will be rewarded vs actually going for a 30 footer.

Both folks putting out is a BIG part of worst shot. Doesn't seem like speed of play should be that big a deal.

Rewarding teams with one strong putter who can make those super long shots..............how is that right? To say it is okay to be that lopsided as a team. I hope those making the decision will stick with worst and make both parties putt out.

A list of teams would be nice too.

Let me be clear, Team STILLWAGON fears no format! I was simply asking for clarification on what was discussed here.

I agree w what Suemac says on the difference and impact. But don't think I or ANY team wouldn't take an advantage given to them.

Hey Sue...... jump up another division and let's have a fun little match! TeeHee!

We've heard there's some teams with sand in their shoes...........they know who they are and don't realize how much folks notice their bagging.

Yep, like homeless folks, just bagg'n it down the road.

The Queen will have to make the decision about our possible move up to MA2. I just want to beat up on some wrec'd fellas, this old woman an't asking for much.
