Eric,

I know you really enjoy my posts, and somehow suggesting that following the same formats as are used at World Doubles is stupid or uninformed..........just shows what a nice guy you are.

Aw, come on now Sue. I love your posts. Someone from the old guard has to keep all the young, radical thinking, noobs in check.

PDGA AM World Doubs is a Major, serious competition supposedly at the highest level. And not to diss this weekend's event, but I'm hoping it's about having a good time and celebrating another successful Birdshot season.

AM World Doubs plays three 18-hole preliminary rounds: one best shot round, one best disc round, and one alt shot round. Teams making the finals play a final round consisting of a mix of best shot, best disc, and worst shot. In total for MA1 only 11% of their holes are worst shot; the other divisions play only ~5% of their holes as worst shot.

Why are so few holes played worst shot? One can hypothesize because they're not as enjoyable, they take longer to play, and they're more subjective (with another team choosing your lie).

Tough shot exists as an officially recognized format for a reason. I'm just suggesting we use it.

, , , etc..

As Dee and I actually won Am Doubles two years, I know the formats that are used.

So, we'll be ready for the "boys" of wrec'd. Baggers and all!

I just conversed with Dolla Bill regarding the issue of Worst Vs. Tough shot for Saturday....he is inclined to stay with Worst Shot as was originally advertised....sorry, ERic!

I can't make the decision for ya. All I can do is tell you why Tough Shot is better.

Looks like I've been pardoned... Tiff or Keith, either of you still looking for a partner?
