The 20th annual HFDS Houston Ice Bowl

Benefiting the Houston Food Bank

In these historically tough economic times, there are more folks than ever that will need the Houston Food Bank’s assistance. Please come out, play some disc golf and help the hungry in our community.

Location: Agnes Moffitt Park

When: Saturday, February 5th

Times: Sign up is between 9:30 -10:45 AM. Tee off at 11 AM.

Cost: $5 per player with an optional $1 mulligan.

Bring extra money for raffle tickets! Again, in association with Disc Golf United, we will have a DISCatcher Sport target as the grand prize.

If you have anything that you can donate for additional raffle prizes, please bring it. It will add to the fun and hopefully encourage more donations to the Food Bank.

Players that additionally pay for an HFDS membership will receive an additional 5 raffle tickets. Call Richard (713) 876-5855 or Conrad at (713) 582-1472, if you have any questions.

I've got a big stack of tie dye I'll be bringing out for raffle Saturday. Looks like Momma Nature is going to grace us with funtime weather.

Looks like it definitely could be a true Ice Bowl....and it would be really something if there was a little snow on the ground! Everybody just be real careful getting there...especially me!

Yep, finally a season for the name! I remember 2 years ago when we wore shorts!

Last year it was nice enough to bring Tristin out for her first round.

Who else is going to step up and toss some stuff in the raffle? I know i have a couple of discs going in.

I'd like to see if we can out participate our Ice Bowl than every other Ice Bowl in the country. I read they had 83 players out in California.

If we get close to 90 players I hope the organizers consider possibly adding a few temp holes to prevent excessive wait times.
