Would anyone be opposed to this being a fundraiser for our Btiers later in the year? I can organize and make this happen. We are always looking to do stuff like this to give people something to do. It is usually ctp's for discs donated by Andy and don. I could do two divisions, 9 holes of ace race style holes, one division pays cash and one for plastic payout. If Jim is willing to throw in a couple of discs still. I know Andy and don will put up their usual few. I propose we do $5 entry you pick which division cash or plastic, cash payout will be $3 of each $5 entry.

^^^^ That’s not "Ace in the Park" VPO style...
$5 entry, one division 6 baskets 1 throw each basket. If more then one ace is hit the money gets divided.

How about this fundraiser idea, give an option for the players to pick either the 5 dollar ace pot or a 5 dollar fundraiser CTP. The CTP plastic donations are great for during the round, and different divisions (open/am) get there own CTP hole.

That's OK. I like Patrick's take on the idea.

And we're not running an A-tier either. I think that compromise is the best solution. We don't have any big sponsors for this C-tier, so we'll go with what we can get. If you have some time feel free to get a cash sponsor for the game. I think the chance to choose what you want to play for is a big deal. If you just want a cash game between friends then run it yourself.
As of right now it's looking like a $5 entry. You choose whether you want to play for a stack of discs, or money from the entry's. If we get above $50 in the pot then we'll pay two spots, if we get more than $100 we'll pay three spots. Plastic spots paid will be determined by amount of swag received. It will most likely be a nine hole circuit of holes 120 ft. to 200ft. roughly. We will have a card for each group or person, and you will get one throw per hole. If you hit an ace (as defined by Eric Jubin's definition used by the SWHM) then you write down an A for that hole, if you hit metal you write down an M for that hole. In the case of ties, most metals wins. In the case of some other crazy tie, then I or Chris MacGregor gets to decide who wins based on some future criteria. (maybe a three legged race)

I wasn't upset , you know me. I'm mr laid-back. Just wanted to make sure you were okay with with the idea since you started the discussion about it. Are you going to sign up for this one? Maybe we'll get to play first round together.

Thanks for the reminder... I gotta update that for the new "optional rethrow" verbiage.
