....and a great time was had by all! Thanks, Waterloo & Randon for providing a fun weekend....we could have done without the wind on Saturday (see what you can do about that next time!) but yesterday was gorgeous! Ching-Shot ended up DFL, but with the perfect weather Sunday morning we actually finished the last round feeling like we played with some dignity! Thanks to Josh for doing a fine job on his first tourney...well done!

What a fantastic time this weekend was.

Congrats to all the winning teams from Houston!!

Weather as always changed drastically over the weekend from perfect weather Friday night setting up camp, to torrential downpour and cold front just hours before "A" flights initial Tee-off. To overcast windy afternoon rounds on Saturday. To absolutely perfect calm sunny and warm Sunday rounds....

So ummm... what happened to that tournament? It's probably been 5 years or more since I last played this one. I remember it being a much more popular event. The lack of turnout did nothing to detract from the quality of experience for me. It was kinda cool never having to wait for the card in front of us to finish, maybe a little eerie but nice nonetheless. Just curious, and hoping somebody has some insight. Is it being overshadowed by world dubs in Wimberley or what?

I think it was the switch to "pick your own payout" that turned several away.. They were bummed about not getting a bag full of pre picked grooves. Haha just kidding...

Maybe it was a mixture of not having a mixed doubles division, competing tourneys, and slow economics...

I liked having tourney choices to make, and no waiting on T-boxes,

I did miss the absence of the iconic Teepee though.

The calendar of disc golf events continues to get more and more congested every year. But THIS YEAR, WE HAVE THREE WEEKS OF A-TIER GOLF IN A ROW next month, and that doesn't even include World Doubles which keeps raising their prices every year.

Try taking events that are normally spread out over the spring and slamming them all togther in four weeks. Oh, and no Dallas representation might be just the fact that their were just scared of the competition.

Team "Malice In Chains" had a great time!

There was mention of a Masters tourney at the Snow Farm. Does anybody have any info?
Thanks!
