9th Annual Liiiiive Oak Ice Bowl in Live Oak, TX - Feb 12

Hello Houstonians,

We hope you will consider joining us next Saturday for an awesome day of disc sports and fundraising for some great causes! We play a one round tournament in the morning, have a great lunch from Texas Roadhouse and Sweet Leaf Tea. Then its Reindeer games all afternoon followed by a crazy raffle and awards!

This year will feature a 9 hole mini disc course and a Kan Jam tournament which is a ton of fun. If you can throw a Frisbee, you can Kan Jam! You can bring your own partner or sign up the morning of for a donation of $10 per team. Rules are simple and the game is addicting fun.

20 Hole Disc Golf Challenge
Divisions
$20 (Pro, Advanced, Intermediate)
$15 (Beginners and Ladies)

Kan Jam Tournament
$10 Per Team (Bring Your Own Partner or Find One There)

$10 of each entry, raffle, Kan Jam and dry food will go to support: EDGE and GRASP

Please bring non-perishable food (Special Basket Raffle for those that do)

(1) Tournament Round of 20 holes for disc golf portion of event

We are adding more sponsors by the day and this looks to be the best Ice Bowl of our tenure! Don't miss out, the Kan Jam is going to worth the trip alone. If you can throw a Frisbee, you can Kan Jam! If you are good at Ultimate or lid throwing in general, you need to get a partner and get to Live Oak this weekend. Check the PDGA thread if you have a team you would like to assure a spot!

Sounds like a blast! Unfortunately I can't get out anywhere this weekend because we're setting forms for the boxes at Jack Brooks for States...I'm missing the Pleasure Island Classic Ice Bowl for the first time in five years too! Not complaining really....the work has to be done...but I would always rather be out playing than working! Have fun at Live Oak!
