2008 Eberly Ranch / Powers Industries Open

This post is the formal announcement of the 4th anual Eberly
Ranch Open disc golf tournament. This is a non-sanctioned
mini tournament, however all PDGA rules will apply.

My goal again this year is to keep the entry fees affordable, pay out 100% of all entry fees to all divisions, provide a free lunch to all entrants and have a fun enjoyable day for the players and guests.

Watch this thread for further developments as they happen. You can
visit the ranch website (www.eberlyranch.com) for directions and information on room rentals if you would like to come up Friday night or stay over on Saturday night. You need to contact the ranch office for that sort of thing.

Ask anyone who has played this tournament over the past 3 years
and they will tell you that is a must make tournament. Hope to see a bunch of the Austin crew in for this one.

By the way:
The format again this year will be singles the first round and doubles
the second round with playes paired up by high/low score within
each division. Your doubles score will be add to your morning round
score to make your final score. That is unless an overwhelming majority
really twist my arm and talk me into a two single round foremat.

I had a great time last year... But the second round was paired as you said but not by division. I know because I was the worst and Matt Hall was the best and I'm certain he doesn't play women's rec. So just curious, is it going to be by division or paired low to high? I had a blast playing with the big dawgs. lol

I had a horrible first round last year and ended up cashing in 3rd something.... stratagy on my part was unintentional tho.
