Great to read this Richard! I hope some others step up to help Richard transport a few more from Bass to Jester!

See ya out there around 9:30 then Paul!

Thanks to everyone for stepping up and pitching in to bring this together at the last minute.

Its not proposed anymore, its approved

And just to be clear for anyone showing up, there may not be all the baskets set up at one time like Paul said, so just understand there will be some time gaps where play is stopped

with effort, we might be able to fit as many as 4 in the van so we can swap em from one side of the bayou to the other fairly quickly with a couple more vehicles.

I'll leave it to you and Paul to figure out a logistics plan for it Derek.

I had a blast out there today!

I'm jazzed about the prospect of seeing an expansion of the Jester course!

I really, really liked the extra distance that it was stretched out to! I see a lot of good holes with good scoring separation on. I was SO mad about having to take some fours out there on holes I know I can take a 3 on with a little practice. They will require two perfect "drives" for me to have a putt on.

We're going to have to do a bit of planning to figure out how to play a league out there because it's so long! I'm figuring that the first and last leagues of the year might have to be played on 9 holes instead of even 18!

Many thanks to all of you guys that brought baskets out so that we could set it up and see how it played. It was suggested that we might want to hold a more formal event out there and provide a means of gathering more feedback from folks. I'm all in support of holding a tournament out there to begin the serious fund-raising efforts to start raising the money for it!

Wow! Thanks to everyone!

Wow! Very cool expansion design....when all of this is done, Jester will go from being a fairly easy course to a fairly difficult one! I really enjoyed playing the 21 holes yesterday....kudos to the combination of Larry's & Derek's expansion designs...good job!

Those were the long boxes that were played. There will be short boxes as well.

My bad....the redesign should be credited to Paul & Derek! I had thought that some of the holes on the other side of the bayou were from Larry's original plan...

Based on comments and suggestions from the mini and other walk-throughs, Paul and I have pinned down the holes on the south-side of the course more accurately.

Thanks to everyone in supporting us.

Here are the results of the little impromptu mini tournament that was held on 6/25/2011 to test out the new TC Jester layout.

I don't have all of the color divisions quite right, but I got it pretty close based on the cards. I also didn't retain the payout numbers...
